I figured it was just an oversight with the html, no worries.

And, yes, the mp3 format is actually more important than the podbook. The podbook format is really only useful if you listen to your audiobooks on an apple device on in itunes and not everybody does. The mp3 format is compatible with pretty much any device ever, so it's standard in podfic fandom to make the mp3 format default. :-)

ETA: In short, please add an mp3 version when you get the chance.

Sorry, seeing as it's so huge, all I could think was that I wanted a format with chapter markers. This is the second podfic I've ever done, I feel like I made so many mistakes with it.

2.5 hours isn't terribly long for a single file, though if you wanted you could break up the mp3 version into 2-3 smaller files since you can't add chapter breaks to an mp3. Just a suggestion!

And I'm sure you did a great job! Knowing there is podfic for this fandom, I'm think I may need to pick up the first book in the series that has been sitting on my bookshelf for ages. :-)

Knowing there is podfic for this fandom, I'm think I may need to pick up the first book in the series that has been sitting on my bookshelf for ages. :-)
You really should, it's a fantastic series! Keep in mind the first 2-3 books are ... ok, they're good but they're not THE BEST OMG. It's around 4 and 5 where they start getting more and more epic and blowing your mind. Jim Butcher's writing talent improves dramatically after the first few books. And then each book just gets better and better and ... wow. They'll make you laugh, cry, freak out, scream in fury at coming to the end of a story ... yeah. And the characters are all so strong and given such great development that the fanfics are awesome.
I've run into a decent amount of podfic for the Dresden Files, which is good because waiting between books can be excruciating at times.
