Finding co-readers or language help
So -- I am just getting into podficcing, and having a blast. But because I'm brand spanking new, I really don't know anyone, or many communities other than amplificathon which pointed me here...
So, I'm about to read a fic, and I've discovered that it has a few phrases in another language. I have passing (though not fluent) abilities in three other than English (Spanish, Japanese and Gaeilge)...this is not one of them, nor even close. (It's Italian, with a few brushes of Latin.)
...I need help. I have no idea where to look to find a way to pronounce these phrases, nor do I know where to look to possibly find someone who might be willing to record them for me so I can either mimic them or directly insert them into my reading (at least one section is supposedly singing, so another voice would be fine).
I have already found http://www.howjsay.com/ for pronouncing English words I don't know.... but that kind of doesn't help with the Italian.
Can anyone help me? even if its just to point me to the proper community for asking questions like this, if this isn't the right one?
