Podfic History & Tutorial question
Three sets of question that involve a Digital Production project I have to do over the next months (more information can be found here). Broadly my projects are on the subject of Audiobooks, and I have presentation where I am going to be talking about "What is podfic?"
1) I am wondering if anyone knows or has got the history of podfic in fandom written down? Because despite doing this for five years, I have no idea how the podfic movement started.
2) Has there been any podfic created for original works posted on the internet? I've become aware of podiobook. So the question is, what's the status/history of internet audiobook reading outside of fandom? (This question is purely so I can broaden the audience for my presentation.)
3) I will need to create a 5-min corporate video that will be an instructional video on how to use Audacity for your podfics. Depending on the time, what basic common issues would you like address when I create this video? Or maybe ideas that will fit in 5 minutes?
