A mountie in Chile
Hola, my dear friends!
Greetings from Valparaiso in Chile!
Since last Thursday I'm on my month-long trip through this beautiful country and today I spent the day with a mountie. No kidding!
We had both joined a guided city tour yesterday and met up by coincidence this morning at Pedro Neruda's house 'La Sebastiana'. After we decided to team up for the day, we explored the city discussing the various murals and street art. In the afternoon we visited an art museum and the Naval museum. Then he bought a poncho. The whole time he tried on different versions I had to work hard to not giggle.
Now he's left for Santiago, but we might meet up again in a week in San Pedro de Atacama.
I'm going to stay for another day here, before traveling to La Serena to see Humboldt pinguins, bottlenosed dolphins and the local coastal rain forrest.
