this morning in lab we pulled out the minks we were working on last semster to dissect the blood vessels and veins. pinky was preserved quite well considering he hasn't seen the light of day in about four months.
we named our dissection subject "pinky". they encourage that, for some reason. i guess when you give your subject a name, they seem a little more friendly. when we are good to pinky, pinky is good to us. he even lets us take his little paw and make it wave at everyone. and the other minks wave back.
i think i'm getting used to dissecting now. its not so bad really, once you've mutilated one mink, you can mutilate them all. cadavers are another issue.
that sounds really bad. and probably sounds really gross to whoevers reading this.
so i'm going to stop talking.
