Interesting to read! I wouldn't have thought about things like the laptop fan or fridge buzzing but that makes sense that it would be noticeable. Thanks for sharing! Cool hear, since I spent so many hours of my commute listening to your podfics :)

^^ Thanks for reading. They're definitely not things I would have thought of before I started podficcing. I honestly never noticed how noisy the spaces I live in were until I tried to record something. I also hadn't estimated the distance between the shelving unite and the fridge until I introduced it to my forehead while trying to unplug the latter. So, new adventures all around >.>

I'm really pleased I've made your commute more enjoyable. I hope I can continue to produce podfics you enjoy listening to! <3s

This was interesting, especially the parts about your voices (which are awesome) and about editing while recording! I use my phone to record (because the mic on my laptop is crap), so I can't really do that, but it sounds efficient! :)

:) I'm glad you like the voices I do. Yay!

Not actually sure if it's more efficient, I just really hate editing and know if I didn't do it this way I'd never post another podfic again. I'd just have a bunch of unedited files sitting on my computer. It's cool that you can use your phone to record, I didn't even know you could do that! (My phone is an ancient brick, so that might explain my surprise).
