Podcast: Radiosonic Workshop (Doctor Who audio plays)
In the name of spreading the word about podfic (and/or, in this case, radio drama), bessyboo and I recorded a podcast (the first of many, hopefully) for Radiosonic Workshop: radio_sonic. There's more information about what the project is, and about Shalka, in the podcast itself, but as a brief lead in here's some information
Radiosonic Workshop is currently producing a series of audios based on the BBC Doctor Who Webcast, Scream of the Shalka (written by Paul Cornell, starring Richard E. Grant, as the Doctor, Derek Jacobi as the Master, and Sophie Okonedo (Liz X) as the companion, Alison). It’s based heavily on the format established by Big Finish (4 x 25 minute episodes). The series will run to 7 episodes with a contained arc.
Here's the podcast. It runs to just over 30 minutes in length.
