Break is almost here
So, yes. I have been busy. I try to get on livejournal every once in a while to see what is new. Nothing much. Facebook has taken over the world wide web. But I won't sound like one of THOSE people who tend to blame one thing for anti-social post-teens.
Married Life.
I don't have any complants. Kyle and I are ready to have similar schedules again, but that'll have to wait. Our living situation has been pretty nice. Someone is usually home to keep us company during the day or the night. We have chores and have rotations to take out trash/wash the dishes/ect. If you didn't know, we are living with 2 of Kyle's friends since high school. At first I wasn't sure how well it would work out, but it really is a wonderful set up. We all get along pretty well, and that's not me being the only girl in the house trying to keep peace. And yes--poeople are amazed that I can tolerate living with 3 guys.
School.
I've started interpreting, just in class. Wow. Wowwy wow. Very nice. I can finally make sense out of the books and articles I have been reading for the past year. Somedays I feel like I am on a high, making good judgements right and left and my sign production is just beautiful, and on other days I want to quit school and find a different profession. It kicks a person in the ass having so many highs and lows, but hopefully I'll make it.
Work.
I've been promoted again and now I am the Director at work. It's more work, yes, but considering I won't be able to work next semester we needed the extra money. I've been making a habit of having 11 hour days with work and school combined. The only break I have is the 10 minutes in my car to drive from school to work. By the time Friday arrives I am grouchy and tired and have to find some energy to spend time with Kyle. Next week we'll be able to spend plenty of time together since a few of my classes will be cancelled on Monday and Tuesday, Thanksgiving Break starts on Wed. and I will be off school and work for 3 days.
Bed.
We bought a new bed a few months ago. I think I shall find that bed, fold and hang the clean clothes that are on top that bed, and get ready for yet another full day.
