SO INTO IT! I...did not feel particularly shocked or vindicated by the reveal at the end of the episode, but A+++.
That said, I think the real truth will end up being that Ezra is more like the field captain of the A team. I mean, Ezra is a creeper and he has been since Day 1, but what has always struck me as being so dangerous about him is his ability to appear weak and nonthreatening even to himself. I can see him behind some of the riskier stunts where he'd be swept up in adrenaline and denial and I can definitely see him as doing the stalking and the spying, but I have a harder time wrapping in the sadistic whimsy of the A we see lovingly dismembering dolls at the end of each episode.
tbqh, what strikes me as most likely is that this is a FitzgerAld family affair? I think Ali is a secret/lost younger sister or cousin and it's one or both of Ezra's rich parents who are really pulling the strings. ie, I don't think his surprise and dismay at the paternity test was for show, since there was no one for him to be lying to about it? But I do think it is totally A's style to falsify those test results, and I can easily imagine them having a stuffy old blue blood reaction to a(nother if I'm right about Aly) bastard offspring.
