the best of us have a spice of perversity in us

The March sisters, always and forever. While I loved them all, I especially remember adoring the relationship between Jo and Amy. Obviously Jo was my girl, as I bet she was for most of us. Amy, though! That little brat got away with EVERYTHING!  But she was cute and charming and instinctively knew how to play the baby-of-the-family card so everyone, including you and Jo, kind of had to adore her even though she was a snotty little asshole who destroyed Jo’s work for shits and giggles and said things like “Jo! Your hair! Your one beauty!” MARMEE RAISED YOU BETTER THAN THAT, YOU TACTLESS LITTLE MONKEY. And ooooh, all was forgiven because she was dumb enough to go skating on thin ice, because apparently not wanting someone dead is the same as forgiving them for stomping all over you. But Jo clearly thought so, because, they’re sisters. And they fought and made up and grudgingly aligned against common enemies and loved each other fiercely and that is how sisters are.
