Here endeth the fruits of the Great Plague Re-Watch of 2011, and I’m probably about to be back on my regular schedule of “maybe thinking about updating two months from now IF EVER” because this has already strained my attention span well past its breaking point.  Unless there is another snowstorm/plague this winter, in which case, SEE YOU REAL SOON

I love Virginia, too. I think she got him. Also, she's one of those cool adult characters that gives Angel such a different feel than BtVS -- more cops and lawyers, less homework. Doesn't mean I like it better, but it is sometimes refreshing.

Right? Virginia is awesome. I would have loved to see more of her. It struck me as I was fleshing this out that Virginia is exactly what Cordelia always thought she would end up being; it could've been really interesting to have her around.

And yeah, I like BtVS better for sure, but the life-drama around the supernatural stuff on AtS has always been more relatable to me.

Wes/Virginia is MY FAVORITE WESLEY RELATIONSHIP.  LOOK AT WESLEY. HE SMILES.

I LOVE THEM. Okay, Wes/Lilah is still OTP forever and ever amen, but whatever. Really, Wes should just date everybody.

It might be the best friendship the series ever puts forth. OF COURSE IT WILL ALL END IN TEARS, but for this season, it’s a joy.

It means he can step into a vacuum and do some good - or, actually, given the way Wes works, do some damage control - but he overestimates his distance from the group, and therefore rarely has as broad a view as he assumes he does.

I SECOND THE MOTION. awww Wesley bb I just want you to be happy. Perhaps consider relocating to a different show?

I love Wesley and Lilah too, in that it's fascinating and beautifully done and SUPER HOT but in context it just twists the knife a little too far for even my black little heart.

Yes! It just amazes me how much was there with Wesley, that S3 just naturally happened the way it did.

I don't watch Doctor Who! I somewhat watched the first season and the first two seasons of Torchwood (the first out of curiosity, the second BECAUSE SPIKE) but it never quite caught me. I actually gave up halfway through Headmaster Giles' episode. I'm meh on aliens, I think, which is weird considering my favorite shows. SHOULD I?
