i've got a theory
I know I am several years late to both these parties WHAT CAN I SAY, I LIKE TO MAKE AN ENTRANCE, but I don't even think TV Tropes has this THEORY WHAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING. SORRY ABOUT THE SPAMMING. I HAD AN EPIPHANY.
The First as Jenny: I am something you can't even conceive. The First Evil. Beyond sin, beyond death. I am the thing the darkness fears. You'll never see me, but I am everywhere. Every being, every thought, every drop of hate. (Amends)

The First as Glory: I honestly don't think there's a human word fabulous enough for me.
The First as Adam: I can be patient. Everything is well within parameters....You're right where you belong.

(Obviously there are Serious Thoughts about the destruction of less-patriarchal polytheist societies being ordered by the eventually-validated OTD in BSG, compared to the protection/empowerment of a matrilineal society being the key to defeating basically the same OTD in the Buffyverse. SPANISH INQUISITION YAY is probably not the intended moral of the story here and all, but I'm going to go out on a limb and argue that that 'probably" should be unnecessary. But this post is just for the twenty minutes of giggling this brought me tonight.)
