Yep. They are indeed the C-squad on the clunker. But I believe there was a thing where Adama was there as like, a quiet job before retiring, or some kind of ceremony or something. I don't question that Lee belongs on a shitty C-class ship.

I feel like I should have more comments, but it's such a long time since I watched season 1 that I kind of forget stuff, and don't always know what you're referring to, lol. This made me laugh, though:

Are the humanoid Cylons lieutenants for Zoe Graystone?

I will laugh forever if that moody little brat is God in this universe.

Haha, I like to think of her more as the Joseph Smith of the Cylon religion. :)

How the fuck does a civilization of a few thousand people have a cabin full of journalists? And who the fuck are they reporting to?

Haha, so... the answer to this just came to me when I was reading your most recent post about the government and how they kept the same structure even though it doesn't make sense, since there are no planets anymore.

The reporters were probably either traveling with Roslin or on board Galactica for the decommissioning ceremony. That seems like a big enough deal to get news coverage. And now they're stuck with all these journalists in the fleet, whom they don't really have a need for, true, but what else are they going to do? They are clinging to the old patterns, their jobs, the news coverage of politicians, even though it doesn't make sense anymore.

YAY FOR YOUR BRAIN. That totally makes sense!
