Haha! I actually thought Santos was kind of a self-righteous douche. But JS was really good at playing a self-righteous douche, and was really good on Dexter, so I thought I'd roll with it. Nope!

I've entirely given up on having any legal TV show remotely resemble the way it works in The Real World(tm)

OMG, I couldn't even get into it. I kept starting to WTH the Legal Drama in my head, but they did not try to the extent that it wasn't even fun. And, you know, it would KILL PEOPLE WITH BOREDOM to actually deal with the procedural details of this kind of case so whatever, but when you have judges dramatically proclaiming "I don't have time for your bleeding-heart liberal crap!" as reasons for overruling motions, and then people yelling "MORAL RIGHTNESS! MORAL RIGHTNESS!" for no reason at all, it's just eyeroll-inducing.

I have no clue how it's possible to make Cameron from House have ~more~ feelings

I actually was cheering for Vinick, for realz. I'm with you on Santos as self-righteous douche.

I'm kind of developing a taste for legal shows (as an offshoot of loving political shows- Commander in Chief and West Wing so far). Mostly just Ally McBeal (shame, but I love Biscuit, Fish & Whipper), and Damages thus far, but I'm looking forward to Harry's Law. Any other recommendations?

I like Cameron too. She is the only person at PPTH that I would actually want, you know, taking care of me. Well, maybe Wilson, but if you get to him you're in pretty miserable shape, so eh.
