I got hit with a bit of words today, so I wrote them down. Personally, I think they sound far to angst-ridden to be worth much, but I figured I'd ask for opinions.
Pour your heart out, but keep it locked up
They'll just tear it down to nothing
all your dreams of being needed
frozen, shattered on the floor
but you can't fix it, can't you see this?
keep on writing 'till you burst
I fully realize that I am not right, but at least I am not you
But the words I speak and try to sing are a reflection of my heart
Gone but not forgotten, I will soldier on this way.
Step inside, don't look around here
