My desktop computer that is. Of course, the subject line could also apply to my LJ, but my computer still wins on that account because the last time it worked was before I went to Japan, thus outdating the very existence of this LJ account. Whoo.
I don't enjoy daylight savings. It was barely edging on 2:00 little more than half an hour ago when suddenly poof! Another hour of my life gone. At this rate, I'll never convince my roommate that I can go to sleep at reasonable hours. I suppose my argument isn't helped at all by the fact that I'm updating an LJ that has languished in disuse for over a year at *looks at clock* 3:30am 2:30 in the morning. *shrug*
On a wholly unrelated note, I have a new unhealthy fascination with *NSYNC. Why didn't this happen to me when I was thirteen, didn't know any better and therefore could have written it off as a teenie-bopper phase? I started out on the right track. I was still young and naive when I bought their CD - the first CD I'd ever purchased - and I listened to it regularly enough, learned all the lyrics so I could sing along like any good little boyband groupie.
But somewhere down the line I dropped the ball and didn't pick it back up until now, eons later, when no respecting person my age freely admits to being able to identify the *NSYNC members by name. That of course means that I - having no respect for age or propriety - now know not only their names but their entire respective life histories having sifted through all 600+ videos tagged with *NSYNC on YouTube and watched them all. And that despite my cheap ways, I am seriously contemplating buying all four or so tour DVDs from Amazon.com (a caprice which I shall attribute to the late hour of the evening).
It's okay. I think I should be
committed, too.
