Torchwood: Miracle Day ep1 review
Okay, so I did a review for Children of Earth, which is on my deviantart. If you want to read it, just let me know and I would be more than happy to share it. But pretty much what happens in my Torchwood episode reviews is that I break down elements and parts of the episode and comment about it. I joke around a lot, but I'm also very seriosu about certain things; I'm sure you'll be able to differentiate the two. Plus, these are first-viewing opinions, so whatever I say in these usually comes from just coming from seeing it a few minutes ago. I am very much open for discussion and I hope you enjoy my review. 8)

It begins again, my Torchwood episode ramblings reviews!
Okay, I'll start on a positive note
I am so glad Jack didn't wait till the end of the eppie to show up. I heard rumors that would be the case, but I am so glad it wasn't. I kind of wished he was a bit more flirty with Esther. Yeah, I know he lost our beloved Ianto in CoE and the world is about to be overpopulated, but I really miss Jack being flirty. He hasn't been in a long while and I miss that about him. But I am really glad Jack wasn't put aside for plot. Jack is what makes this show run and I'm glad us Americans wouldn't have it any other way, either.

OMG I love Gwen & Rhys' baby! It could be a whining, annoying little runt like her mother but Anwen (I like the name <3) is a pretty awesome baby. She smiles a lot (d'awwwe), she isn't bothered by all the loud noises, and she's pretty adorable. X3 I will be hoping for a moment in anticipation for Jack to hold wittle Anwen in his arms and she'll look at him and smile cuz Jack is so easy to smile at. I dunno XD Anwen kinda sounds like a name from Lord of the Rings... just saying.

Ok, I understand, you have a daughter and that changes everything. But, you know you are in the show Torchwood... did you really think trouble wouldn't eventually come up? JK XD Their conversation in a nutshell:
Gwen: ppl r living N not dying!
Rhys: Yeah, I get that.
Gwen: mah dad is sick
Rhys: u just said nobody is dying. Let's go home
Gwen: fhygtyugtrwehavetostayherrrrreeeeee
Rhys: D8< What about our daughter?
Gwen: but I wanna fight alienssssss
Rhys: get ur butt back to the house in the middle of Wales!
Gwen: ok.
CIA pplz
Esther is too soon to tell. She's kinda bland, but I'm not giving up on her; I bet she'll develop over the eppies.My mom and I both thought she was an idiot for running away from Jack XD
Whatwashisname-Rex? Yeah, not liking yet. DUDE, motherflipping Captain Jack Harkness wants you to turn your damn phone off biatch! I thought that was funny. XD
PEDO ALERT!
No, literally. The pedophile-rapist-murderer guy is quite slimy and I have a feeling he's going to become a bigger problem than what he is now. When he first came onscreen I was like “It's the President of the United States from Independence Day!” <---warning: becuz of this many Independence Day jokes are going to be made as this series continues.

That was a pretty nasty bruise there D8 Boy, this is interesting. Now Jack can die... ugh the Doctor has to be at least mentioned in this series!

Jack: Tiem can be rewritten
Doctor: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo *paradox ensues

This is going to be interesting. And as much I like being an American, why is the Whoverse so suddenly involved with America? It's as if Britain's discovered the New World all over again... only with DW & TW. I mean, I understand that maybe America is trying to get more involved with the Whoverse, which I'm glad, but I dunno... maybe I'm just not used to seeing two of my favorite shows being advertised so much here.
The story & farewells
Too early to really tell yet. Story is alright I guess. I do really want to know why Torchwood suddenly spammed the CIA when ppl stopped dying. I'm kind of hoping it was the Doctor yelling at his spin-off like “Don't go away! People like ur show!” ...or rather “Hey Jack, I'm going off to have adventures without any companions in eppies that won't air until later. Put in another season of Torchwood!”
I dunno. I had a busy day today so this review isn't as good as it could be. Anyway, can't wait to see how Miracle Day plays out!
