shiny, happy people's democratic republic of the congo

hi, internet.

Long time, no substantial post. There are many reasons for this, most of which have to do with my stunning lack of free time, and I will eventually blog about many things. Most importantly--John Hodgman, the Nazi twins, the book fair.

Until then, you are left with a "The State of pocky_slash" esque post.

I am really sick.

I could probably end right there, but since I know you're all aching for more detail, I will continue.

The past few weeks have been incredibly busy. I'm rarely online, clearly, and I'm so behind on... just about everything ever. Sorry to everyone I owe e-mail, comments, stories, etc to. I'm working on it, I really am, but I barely have time to read my f-list before falling into bed, exhausted.

It also doesn't help that the network here has been sucking more than usual. ::shakes fist:: I can't even get purchase.edu to load right now. wtf?

Okay. Whiny sick bitching aside, here is what I HAVE been up to.

PurchaseIndy.com. Check it out, ladies and gents. This is probably the best issue we've printing all year and it's insanely awesome.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I shouldn't even have to explain why this is important.

cwr4990. Although I haven't actually posted anything there yet. I'm going to be doing that later tonight, as long as my internet doesn't crap out. I'm already having weekly panic attacks about my senior project. It's October. I'm doomed.

In other news... the more I hear about Foley, the more I think this is all just some ridiculous joke and that one day soon, someone's going to find the IM where he's like, "j/k, major news organizations! These are adults pretending to be Congressional pages! pwned you!"
