So, last night mostly consisted of eating rainbow sherbet and re-watching "Galileo" to write fic for
celbalrai and then staying up until 7:30 am watching teevee and reading. Whoops!
It was also Brendan's birthday, and my parents were going up to UConn to see him. They headed home this afternoon and called me around two to see if I wanted to have lunch or something. Always in the mood for free food, I said yes, of course. We went to PF Chang's, which was nice, and talked extensively about politics, as we often do. They swung back here so I could give my mom some CDs and I showed them the scenes shot in the Willowbrook Mall in "The Blank Stare" because they didn't believe me when I figured it out a few weeks ago and told them about it.
While they were here,
_morning_glow called. Which was fucking AWESOME because I haven't seen her since May. This is literally the longest we've got without seeing each other in two years. We hung out and watched some teevee and talked about all the stupid things we've done with, to, and while stalking Sebastian. Goood times. I also called the sucker to see what he's been up to since we last spoke in May. I left him a message, which means I'll never know because he'll never call back.
Man, guys, I just finished the sherbet. It was pretty awesome.
Anyway, I am SO PSYCHED about two things. One of them is STUDIO 60 TOMORROW. (Aside: I am being SO GOOD about spoilers. I stopped reading sides and I only look at upcoming pictures occasionally and I TOTALLY did not click on
twentyfivepast's entry about episode two despite the fact that it is taunting me.) The second is DANI COMING ON TUESDAY! Oh man, those are some exciting upcoming events!
Also, here are some links that have been chilling in my tabs for anywhere between three weeks and three minutes:
An Alternative September 11th History by Jonathan Alter, a Newsweek columnist.
An article about a gay couple who were basically threatened by the staff of an American Airlines flight.
Keith Olbermann on 9/11 The Wonkette guys want their coffee back Some stuff you never really wanted to read about Nancy Grace.
And finally...
I don't even know what was so funny about this? But every time I scrolled by it that day, my eyes would land on the part about Kerry and I would laugh myself silly.
That's all for now! Back to writing!
