oh, vmars, you kick my ass.

So, before I get into the actual episode, did anyone else notice that this was a nine and a half minute teaser, two and a half minutes of which were previouslies? Oh VMars, you're so full of action and Important Information. (The one thing I hate about the previouslies, though, is that it sort of takes the surprise out of some of what's going to happen. Like, when you see backstory about Aaron Echolls, you know he's going to be in it, so you're just waiting for it.)

Anyway. I liked the episode. I love Cliff, I love Vinnie, I liked seeing some Wallace, even if it was NOT NEARLY ENOUGH JESUS CHRIST GIVE THE BOY SOME MORE SCREENTIME! I was a little surprised that Keith went right to Lamb without investigating it more on his own first, especially because it meant he had to go back later and say, "I was wrong," which I tend to think he tries not to do unless he has to.

The missing bride case was interesting. That was not the outcome I was expecting. And Heidi kind of teasing Veronica about her detective skills was kind of funny.

Logan is seriously the world's biggest asshole, and I'm glad he finally realizes it. I guess I shouldn't be shocked at how good an actor is, considering his parents were both actors. I'm sure he picked up a few tricks. I'd be interested to see where all of this showing remorse is leading to.

Cassidy... I really like him, but his scene in the elevator seemed really uneven? I don't know. I was just watching it and... something about him seemed off. ::shrug:: But I really wish I could see what was going on in his head now that thoughts are percolating about integration.

The trashy tabloid show about Aaron was a nice touch. Again, I'm not going to say more about his deal with Kendell until I see where they're going with it.

Good episode, overall. I think all signs are pointing to the Woodman at this point, but I'm starting to suspect that Lamb might have something to do with it as well, and that Terrence Cook might not be as innocent as I think he is.

In other news, I really want to do something this weekend, but at the same time, I want to do nothing. I was thinking of calling Steve and asking if he was interested in seeing Thank You For Smoking because he expressed interest later this week, but now that I think about it, he has plans? I dunno. Maybe I'll call anyway.

Oh, also I should write that paper. ::shifty eyes::

teevee, vmars
