Um... THAT was the big resolution to Nick's plot? Thanks. Thanks a lot, CBS, for making me think this was going to be awesome. I mean, it was a good, solid episode, don't get me wrong, but I thought it would be more about "Grave Danger" and less... about other things, I guess.

And, hey, does anyone else remember when CSI used to do those weird previews where they just had William Petersen say "Next week on CSI" and showed random frames from the next episode? I kind of liked those. They were suspenseful.

Dude, Allison Smith is getting around! First she was on House a few weeks ago, now she's popping up in Without a Trace. I was never a huge Mallory fan but I do have a thing for redheads...

(Oh, PS: Martin stealing the drugs? Lamer than lame. XP)

The Daily Show... oh my lord, do I love Nate Corddry more than life or what? That segment was amazing. I don't even know what my favourite part was, Neil Patrick Harris randomly being there ("Why did someone send me a dead snake?"), Rob teasing him ("Where'd you get that suit, Baby Gap?"), the crossbow ("Well, I guess you could call it hunting..."), the entire part with the doctor, culminating in "mean doctor", or the last bit with Jon where he talks about the "bowling ball." Nate wins the "tiny and adorable!" prize tonight.

The Colbert Report was equally hilarious, what with Stephen's call to the Humane Society and eating a breadstick like that on camera. (How long until LJ icons with Stephen and the breadstick start popping up, do you think?) But the interview... oh man, Nina Totenberg totally did her homework. THAT is how a TCR interview should be approached. (Although there is something to be said about the adorableness of Frank McCourt making Stephen burst out of character and into giggles. It's endearing XD)

After my night of television, I talked to Tara for a bit. Now it's time for writing and then bed, I feel.

Man. I need a life.
