We Can Still Have Fun (The Annotated Edition)
This was a mixed media remix that was not well-received, but fuck those people, because I looooooved it.

(Ugh, I just realized this was another victim of Tumblr changing how it stores its images. I need to fix it when I get home /o\ Chapter two is the text-only version.)

1) As a concept, I just love this story. It's three pages from Charles and Erik's books, annotated snarkily in pen by the other. I love the idea (which is from the fic I was remixing) of them semi-spitefully making those additions in a Barnes and Noble and some poor idiot discovering when they get home that their book has been scribbled all over XD Like, as I was writing it, I kept texting pearl_o about how gleeful it made me.

2) Erik's response to "we need a distraction!" being to cause multiple auto accidents, pull fire hydrants out of the ground, and crush a helicopter is probably the most Erik thing in the world and I LOVE IT.

3) Having Charles write a memoir and Erik write a scathing political commentary was a deliberate choice that I love. Having Charles' book be published by a mainstream publisher and Erik's by what's implied to be a fringe mutant publisher is another thing I love. That should probably be two separate bullets, but since I'm only supposed to list three things, I'm smushing them together XD
