There is so much snow. There is so much snow. There is so much snow. There is so much snow.

1) We posted the Worst Bestsellers episode about Fifty Shades of Grey! It's here! There is a follow-up in the works because we spent so much time being angry about the cultural hoopla around the book that we didn't get to spend nearly as much time as we wanted to on how laughably bad it is. I wrote a supplemental essay on the aforementioned hoopla, coming down on the side of not actively shaming women's reading choices under the guise of "protecting them."

My hope is that writing all of that out will stop me from getting into fights on the internet about it, which has been really rough in the weeks since I read the book, especially since it coincided with the release of the movie. (Laura and I saw it while she was here, FYI, and it was actually...not bad. I think the movie is a better movie than the book was a book, if that makes any sense?) I think this is unlikely, but I will continue to hope. (So will mcwonthelottery, who is sick of hearing me talk about it.)

2) likeadeuce gave me a meme!

Ask me for a letter and I'll give you one. Then you can fill out these questions on your own blog.

I had T.

Something I hate: Tumors? (Literally the only T word I could think of that I wasn't indifferent to or in support of.)

Something I love: Tacos!

Somewhere I've been: Toronto! Multiple times!

Somewhere I'd like to go: Tokyo, probably! Not like...tomorrow or anything, but some day it would be neat to check it out.

Someone I know: Tina!

A film I like: It took me a while to come up with one and then in rapid succession I thought of The Thing and Toy Story which tells you a lot about me, probably.

A book I like: Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume (which is the first Fudge book, if you didn't know)

So, comment if you want a letter. This was a good procrastination tool!
