Happy Galentine's Day!
Happy Galentine's Day, internet ladies!
It seems that I can only do one Galentine's Day project per year. This year, my energy has gone into making gift bags for local friends, so I didn't have time to put together ~*~virtual galentines~*~ the way I did last year. I'm sorry!
But I'd still like to take this opportunity to thank all of my lady friends for their presence in my life. I'm grateful and humbled by the love and support that I receive from the women of fandom and all of the other women in my life. I look back on the past twenty years of my life and I can't imagine that I would have grown into my confidence, my talent, and my happiness as fully without the presence of you ladies specifically and all of the others I've known throughout the years.
I'm thankful, too, for all the female role models that fandom has given me, both fictional and not, and all of the amazing female writers, actresses, artists, directors, and showrunners who have brought these characters to life.
I encourage you all to continue to strive to be the Leslie Knope of whatever it is you choose to do, and I hope you all will always have an Ann Perkins by your side.
