Hello, internet!
So, update: I did in fact man up and spend $1800 on a new computer last weekend. It was excruciating and anxiety-inducing and I panicked the whole time and stressed myself into shaking, afraid I'd made the wrong choice, but I'm mostly over it. I downsized from a 15in Pro to a 13in Pro and I am fairly certain I made the right choice! The 15 in looked SO BIG when I was in the store playing with it. Like, way bigger than my buddy at home. But the 13in was nice and I had to wait ~30 minutes to be helped and spent most of that time playing with it and now that I have it at home, I feel good about it.
There are a couple things I need to get used to, still. Yosemite changed a few things that are kind of annoying and unchangable, the trackpad is WAY different, and the smaller size means there's no space between the trackpad button and the end of the computer to rest my thumb on (that means I keep accidentally resting my thumb on the trackpad instead and doing kooky things by accident).
Most of it is just muscle memory I have to unlearn, though. Again--it feels like a good choice. I am a lunatic who stresses out over inconsequential things. It's part of my charm.

Today, when Kyleigh and I were having our daily rage whisper about how much we hate our jobs, we confided in each other that we've both fantasized about quitting and getting jobs at the brand new Whole Foods across the street instead. Apparently one of our co-workers went so far as to investigate job requirements. Glad it's not just us at the end of our ropes here.

It's been cold as balls here and it's only going to get colder as the week wears on. Thursday is supposed to be -25 with the windchill. I am so tempted to just not go to work that day, but it's probably too early in the year to be burning sick days, especially if I'm going to be taking next Friday off anyway.
Very tempting, though. Becca is not helping with her insistence that we could stay home together and it could be a party.

The Outlander episode of Worst Bestsellers dropped yesterday and I legit think it's the funniest one we've done yet (there were two points where I literally had to mute my mic because I was crying laughing and at least two points where I didn't get a chance to mute my mic before I started crying laughing), so even though I've spammed the last few entries with links, I'm gonna drop it in one more time:
Worst Bestsellers - Episode 12 - Outlander.
We learned SO MUCH about herbs, you guys. SO MANY HERBS.

Okay, time to shower and then go to bed. We just finished up season seven of Criminal Minds and the montage song hit me where I live really hard. I HATE when I fall prey to end-of-episode-montage emotional manipulation >:(
