This is sort of a cheat. I had a bunch of this written already (via request from pearl_o, but whatever. Also, only one person is wearing the other's clothes. pearl_o send me this picture about a million years ago and this was my response

This is so cute! It struck me as a sweeter version of the ficlet where Charles finishes his dissertation, goes home, and puts on Erik's shirt. The argument with Moira also felt very authentic and hilarious.

You know, I hadn't thought about that, but they could very well be in the same universe! I have a lot of backstory in my head about what happens after that story, but I've not put as much thought as to what came before...
