Internet, yesterday in X-Treme X-Men there were DINOSAURS. DINOSAURS! Not on like, the main world of this story, but disembodied head in a jar!Chuck stayed there while Dazzler and TR!Wolvie went elsewhere and--
Actually, I'm going to stop right here and tell you all that you should totes read this comic, if only so I have someone to babble at besides brilligspoons who doesn't actually read it (yet--this morning I peer-pressured/brainwashed her into starting it), but patiently sits here and listens to me say things, "I loooove Hercules! He's the hottest god on my homeworld and he's my boooyyyfrriiieeend!" over and over again.
(Also the dinosaurs. The number of times I have brought up the dinosaurs this morning is...pretty hilarious.)
But, yes, here are some reasons why you should be reading this comic:
Come on, guys, it's a series of AUs with a really cool team! I know a lot of you were ranting on The Tumblrs about how upset you were over Xavier's death in 616 and this is a whole book of Xaviers. Most of whom will end up dead. BUT STILL. The one who is alive is A HEAD IN A JAR. Also, TR!LOGAN!

In other news...I am supposed to be reading this RFR. I've gotten about a third of the way through it, but Jesus. I'm finding it really hard to concentrate with my boss not here. I'm getting my daily tasks done, but there are some long-term projects I should be working on that I just can't buckle down and do because there' terribly uninteresting. UGH. GET WITH THE PROGRAM, KAITLYN.
I really need to...figure out what I want to do with my life. It would be nice if that happened some time before I die.
Why isn't it Friday yet? WHY ISN'T IT FRIDAY??

But, yes, here are some reasons why you should be reading this comic:
- The basic plot of this book is that 616 Dazzler gets pulled into a multi-verse hopping group of X-Men who are on a quest to save the integrity of the multi-verse by seeking out and killing evil versions of Charles Xavier.
- Yes, Dazzler. I KNOW, I USED TO MAKE FUN OF HER A LOT TOO. But she's pretty awesomely great here.
- But what you should really be focusing on is that this is a book where every storyline involves them visiting another canonical AU. So far we've seen a Greek Gods/Steampunk fusion and the Wild West! This storyline involves a world where the robot uprising has been successful.
- The team is led by the disembodied head of Charles Xavier in a jar. HE'S JUST A JAR THAT FLOATS AND HIS HEAD IS INSIDE IT. IT'S LIKE FUTURAMA. IT'S AMAZING.
- Other team members include a version of Wolverine who is basically a gay Canadian Theodore Roosevelt. GUYS, I NORMALLY DON'T GIVE TWO SHITS ABOUT WOLVIE, BUT I LOVE THIS GUY SO MUCH.
- Also, a little baby teenager Kurt Wagner who is SO PRECIOUS.
- But overall it's a lot of fun and I really enjoy the team dynamic.
- Thor and Ororo are married in one of the storylines. That's hot, right?
- Also, there's a bb!Wolvie who's a lot more badass than our Wolvie was as a baby.
- SERIOUSLY, THOUGH, THE FLOATING HEAD OF XAVIER AS KING OF THE DINOSAURS. (That's a thing that I made up, but nothing as discounted it as truth so far.)
