"the teen wolves are coming from inside the house!"

Happy Sunday, internet. Work starts again tomorrow. I'm sorry to be the bearer of that bad news :(

It's a short week for me, though! Three work days and then IT'S TIME FOR DRAGON*CON!!! OH MAN!!! I feel like it was just last week that I was looking at my countdown app and despairing that it was still sixty days away, but, Jesus, LESS THAN A WEEK NOW. Oh god. I have so much to do still D:

I'm making some headway on that, at least. I'm at brilligspoons' house to do some laundry (our dryer is broken again) and do some stuff for my cerebro hat. After this, I just need to pack and clean my room. I really need to make a packing list, probably.

So, let's break it down:
  • Spray paint thingys for the hat
  • Go to Michael's and get plastic lacing and coating for the inside
  • Put hat together
  • Clean room
  • Decide what normal clothes I want to bring
  • Try on all parts of all three of my costumes to make sure everything fits
  • Make packing list
  • Pack
  • Print and fill out job application
  • Take out cash
  • Email XMFC meet-up group with phone number for contact
  • Get numbers/Twitter handles of everyone I'm planning hanging out with
  • Fill out rent check and checks for bills
  • Leave spare car key for Margaret
  • Finish "wire" fic
  • Get mom a birthday card

That's doable! Right? Right. Right.

Right. Aaaahhhhhhhhh D:

So, here's the scoop--I've applied for a job in my field. Which is great. And I'm excited about the possibility. I got an interview, which is even more great, despite the encroaching guilt (I don't want to disappoint my bosses, I don't want to leave my workplace in a lurch, I love my co-workers even if I hate my job, what if this job is worse than my current job despite being in my field, also I'm afraid of change, etc).

I'm not super great at being a grown-up, though? To the surprise of no one. So here's my question. Should I tell my current boss that I have an interview somewhere else? I've mentioned it to Doug (and to Margaret, obviously), but I've not said anything to my boss. Now I have an interview and they want professional references and I know my boss would give me a good reference but I guess I'm still unsure what the procedure is with this.

Ugh. Adulthood!

Okay. I'm going to focus on writing until my laundry is done. And watching Rifftrax. And maybe I'll answer comments while I have the time.
