Hello, internet.
I know I have comments to respond to and fandoms to add to NMFF. I'm on it. Yesterday was legit busy at work, though, so I didn't have much time to goof off, and then I was tired and went to bed at nine o'clock.
All this week I've been getting a decent, uninterrupted amount of sleep and still waking up exhausted. I know I've been having weird dreams--not nightmares, just dreams that are unsettling. Sometimes I remember them the next day, sometimes I don't. Plus like... idk, weird personal life shit that's making me feel about sixteen years old. There's a lot going on in the next few weeks and clearly I thought I would add to it by scheduling one fest and starting another for a fandom that's still relatively big in a format I haven't previously worked with. I'm...not unsurprised by this insanity, to be honest. It certainly sounds like me.
Anyway, that's all to say that I'm tired and I'll get to comments and things soon and please know that any comments you leave for NMFF will be included in the fandom list, once I get to it.

Yesterday, amidst actually working at work,
brilligspoons and I both got a little punch-drunk. That happens when you're mindlessly entering information in a spreadsheet all day. God, remember when that was my whole job while I was temping? Anyway, that's how Iverunoutofnamesfortownsburg was born. Also, Chief Edward J. Lamp, their gruff-but-loveable Chief of Police. It made sense at the time. That's a lie. It was FUNNY at the time. So funny that we both were laughing so hard we were crying.
Also funny? The Mythbusters specials that
mcwonthelottery and I watched once I got home. (Less funny--the bus I usually take home was labeled wrong so I didn't get on it and had to wait an additional half hour when I was so tired I could barely see straight. I burst into tears when I discovered this. I am super mature and classy.) But yeah, the behind the scenes specials were hilarious and all cast members succeed in living up to expectations.

I...think that's all I have to report, LJ. How are YOU?
