Remember when I ordered the internet to write me fics where Gwen and Ianto unsexily share a bed and possibly cuddle? SOMEONE ACTUALLY LISTENED!
I'm as shocked as you are!
The best part is that this fic is AWESOME. Even if it wasn't written as a part of my challenge, I would rec it to you because there's so much about it that makes my heart happy. In the aftermath of "Journey's End," Gwen invites Ianto back to her flat, as Jack is stuck in London. Rhys is sorting Harwood's out, so the two of them are alone to share a meal and a bed. Ianto is shaken and clearly remembering his last encounter with daleks and Gwen is just gently supportive and trying to help him through it. IT WARMS MY HEART. There are also a lot of great details in the fic that really vividly stuck with me--Rhys leaving dinner instructions for Gwen, Ianto wearing Rhys' clothes, the two of them brushing their teeth together.
It is AWESOME and you should read it. And then write me a million more Gwen+Ianto-unsexily-in-bed fics.
