Okay, so that was the worst drive home ever. Halfway through, I
got horrible cramps, so I pulled over to try and wait them out/take some pills. I then had to pull over to throw up about every twenty minutes, because every little bump made it worse. When I was driving down 684's uneven patch between Brewster and Mt. Kisco, I was crying because I was so miserable.
By the time I hit 287-in-NY, the pain was bearable but the traffic became bad. By the time I hit 87, the traffic was horrific and I was in no pain. By the time I reached 287-in-NJ (yes, there are two of them on the same route, with a regular 87 sandwiched in between) I was two hours later than I intended to be, but everything was clear.
Now I am here in NJ. The eighty-seven emails from
Not My Fandom Fest made me feel better XD Tomorrow is Jess' wedding, and until then I will be reading and writing and festing and watching cable teevee. October is really the time I think I will miss cable the most because every channel does Horror Movie Weekend. We just watched the 1999 Brendan Fraser The Mummy (and I immediately decided I needed a TW AU with Ianto as Evie and Gwen as a more competent Jonathan) and now we are watching the 1959 Christopher-Lee-and-Peter-Cushing The Mummy. Good times!

Oh, right! Crossing your fingers for me! I might have a seven week temp job. It's not a permanent job (which I still need so badly jfc), but it would go a long way to having me not, you know, have anxiety attacks every night. SO CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR ME. I'll know on Monday, I guess.
