okay guys, here's the skinny
For some reason, LJ and Twitter are not working on my laptop. Well, Twitter is loading in Safari and neither are working in Firefox. I can READ everything and refresh and all that good stuff, but I can't make posts or post comments to LJ.
THIS IS PUTTING A DAMPER ON MY PLANS OF ACTUALLY POSTING FICLETS TODAY.
I'm starting to get vaguely pissed off. (And the first person who says, "That's why you should switch to Dreamwidth!" is going to get punched in the face. I'm serious. I will fly to wherever you are and punch you in the face.)
To complicate matters further, they are both loading on my parents' Desktop of Slowness (formerly known as Reggie, my college computer before he became bogged down by all my parents' crap). I've tried reseting the modem, reseting the router, restarting my computer, restarting Firefox, cleaning the cache, et cetera. I'm going to try going to Panera and trying their internet next, but harmonyangel doesn't seem to be having any luck with that, either.
SO! To summarize! I am actually here! I am actually writing! I am trying to communicate with you guys! LJ just won't let me!
