pimping + possible haitus

A few months ago, copperbadge began serially posting chapters of an original novel called Nameless. It's about a bookseller in a small town who gets pulled into the middle of a whole host of problems and conundrums when a young artist moves to the outskirts of town. It has magic and community and mystery and a little bit of romance and I greatly enjoyed reading it.

He's also been doing some thinky thoughts about a kind of independent press, or maybe just a state of mind, based on how he wrote, revised, unleashed on the internet, revised again, and then self-published this novel. That's something that's worth paying attention to as well.

Anyway, the point is, he recently published the novel through LuLu and I am going to pimp it to you all. You can read more about it here or pick up your own copy on Lulu. The PDF version is free and the actual book is only about $10+shipping.

It was a great read, guys, and certainly a read worth ten bucks. Certainly a read worth your time if you want to DL the PDF and see if you'll like it before committing to a hard copy.

In less exciting news, I have been a little stressed out and strung out lately and some of the stuff on el jay is making me a little nutso. I may be taking a break this weekend.

Which, I know, I haven't been posting much lately in the first place, but this would be a break from writing AND from reading, which I do everyday obsessively. I'm not 100% positive I will do this yet (I am fickle, easily distracted, and don't have a social life), but I thought I'd give you a heads-up. If you want me to read/see anything or whatever, drop me a link :)

For those inclined, I am also pocky_slash over on DW. Feel free to add me if you'd like, but 1) I will probably not get around to adding anyone back for awhile because 2) I do not plan on using it for the foreseeable future.
