Mom: Sure. Do you need a spoon?
Dad: No.
Kait: Wha... I... are you just going to... what? ::giggles::
Dad: What?
Kait: ::hysterical laughter::
Mom: What's her problem?

Dad: I don't know.
Kait: ::hysterical laughter::
Dad: ::picks up a spoon from where it's hidden behind a box::
Kait: ::calming down:: Oh my god, you had a spoon! I was wondering!
Dad: What did you think I was going to do, eat it with my hands?
Kait: I was seriously wondering!
Dad: Ooo, Battlestar's on!
Mom: It's ending soon.
Kait: It's ending in twenty minutes. Dad, you've forgotten to watch every episode this season. This is the last twenty minutes of the last episode ever.
Dad: Then it must be the best part.
eta: He watched for ten minutes and then went to bed XD

Hey, internet, what's up? Today I had a pretty wonderful day baking with Jess and Hyun. (The problem with trying to be vague about my co-workers on my el jay is that then I become friends with my co-workers and the lines start to blur.) Well, it started off more hysterical than wonderful because, although Hyun lives in the next town over, the town that I work in and the town in which my aunt is in a nursing home and my father used to work, I got lost for forty minutes trying to find her house.
THIS IS HER FAULT, I SWEAR. She gave me pretty vague directions that made sense if I was going from The Bookstore to her house, but they didn't involve any street names or numbers. I ended up coming from a different direction and was completely lost. Yay?
But I got there eventually! And we made wonderful cupcakes and chitchatted and it was lovely. I'll post pictures at some point when I stop being lazy about uploading things from my camera. There were also three pies, which were whittled down to one pie by the time we left. First, one of the dogs hopped up on a chair and ate the middle of one of them. Then, when trying to save the final two from the dogs, Hyun dropped one of the others. It was both funny and very sad XD
It was nice, though. It's something we have to do more often. I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH FRIENDS, GUYS. At least, enough friends that live nearby.

Let's see. Tonight I'm going to work on my second commentary a bit and then probably go to bed! Tomorrow I have nothing planned since no one wants to go see Katy with me and I feel lame going alone. Hopefully some writing will get done?
