mmm... thanksgiving...

Today is Thanksgiving here in America. For those of you who have somehow missed that, what with the proliferation of posts that start with "HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO MY AMERICAN FRIENDS! Um, and I hope the rest of you have a good day too, I guess."

I am feeling a little punchy. My uterus is making its month attempt to either escape my body or torture me (it's hard to tell sometimes) and if I end up throwing up my Thanksgiving dinner, I will fucking cut a bitch.

ANYWAY. Happy Thanksgiving to those of you partaking in the festivities. I hope the rest of you have a good Thursday.

I am making a note here that I am going to Aunt Beth's for Thanksgiving. Not for any particular reason, save for my own records. Earlier this week, my mom and I were trying to figure out where we went last year. I went to look it up in my journal and couldn't find it because instead of blogging about Thanksgiving, I blogged about how sad I was because of something crappy that had happened to me a couple weeks beforehand. In fact, going forward and backward, most of my posts SURROUNDING Thanksgiving were about how sad I was. And for the next few months. I am kind of a loser, guys. Why are you friends with me?

(Over the past eight or nine years, I have learned not to talk about your significant other online for several reasons: 1) they will get pissed off; 2) you will inevitably have to talk about how you broke up; and 3) if they are an online/fandom person or involved in any of your online activities, things get awkward. Those are all reasons, by the way, why one should date outside of fandom. I HAVE NEVER LEARNED THIS RULE. With the exception of one person, everyone I've dated seriously has been fannish. I DO NOT LEARN FROM EXPERIENCE.)

Hahaha, that sort of ran off on its own. Anyway, I am going to curl up with this heating pad until it's time to go to my aunt's house, now! Which is where I'm going, future!Kait! With my parents and brother, where I will meet my grandmother, aunts (all three of them), uncles, cousins, Nicole's mom, and some of my aunt's friends. FOR FUTURE REFERENCE, FUTURE!KAIT.

family stuff, i am crazy, thanksgiving
