IT'S OCTOBER AND I STILL DON'T HAVE A HALLOWEEN COSTUME :O
So, two years ago, I had the best costume ever:
Then last year, I had a costume that was a little less awesome but still great:
Now the question is, what the hell am I going to do this year? I have no freaking clue. None. I'm looking through random stuff online and some of it is clever, but none of it is really calling out to me. Do you guys have any ideas? Seriously? I would be thrilled to hear anything, if only because it might spark an idea, even if I don't use it specifically.

I have... done nothing but work for the past few days. Seriously. I'm losing my mind. I can't wait to get out of work tomorrow, even though I'm picking the babies up once I get out.
I made some pretty kick-ass cupcakes the other day. Orange ice cream cone cupcakes with vanilla icing piped on to look like frosting. Perhaps I will post pictures at one point!
Hm. What else? I got an envelope of like, five Obama buttons in the mail. I don't know why or where they came from--they arrived in a hand-lettered envelope sent from Denver, CO, with an unfamiliar return address. If they're from one of you, thanks for the buttons! :D
OH ALSO THIS HAPPENED: There was some... Bookstore managers conference for our company or something. I don't know the specifics, but my boss obviously had to go. They had authors of upcoming books talk about their books and one of them was John Hodgman! He had advance copies of his book, and my boss gave it to me upon his return! BEST RANDOM PRESENT EVER. I am going to stop reading it as soon as I'm done working forever.
