the heat is addling my brain
So, here are some things:
1) So I watched "Bait," (we're talking about WaT here) which I haven't seen since, probably, it first airred. Um, guys, my teevee boyfriend was in about two minutes of it. NOT ON. If it hadn't had a decent amount of Viv it would have been a total bust.
2) Now I am watching the S3 premiere and I forgot how FRUSTRATING it was that Viv was in charge! And then not! D:<
3) Because, here's a sekrit: shows I would watch: The Danny and Viv Show. Shows I do not care about: The Any Romantic Combination of Jack, Sam, and Martin Taking Over Precious Viv and Danny Screen Time Show. I love all those characters, but I seriously do not care about who they are sleeping with as much as I care about how awesome Danny and Viv are.
4) HEY TIM BUSFIELD. I love his role in this show so much. I love Tim Busfield so much. I think he directed this episode too? Or maybe this is just when he stepped in as executive producer? Who knows. (IMDB knows, but I'm too lazy to go look at it.)
5) In conclusion, where are Danny and Viv?

ETA: Some things about TWW:
1) Someone needs to write a fic where Will is all dominant and self-assured and uses his ability to make it rain as a come-on. I will read this story so many times, internet, you don't even know.
2) In the course of writing Will's first Iowa story, I have once again jumped to the third in the trilogy, where Josh, Donna, Elsie, and Amy come to Iowa during primary season. Specifically, Josh and Donna arrive earlier than expected and kind of shatter the calm that Will has woven around their little house and it leaves him kind of stiff and bitter.
3) I really, really, really, really want to lie back and read an epic Sam/Will fic right about now. Something long and complex with plot and also a relationship and all sorts of things. Tragically, this is impossible when you are one of two people in an entire fandom who write Sam/Will. DAMMIT, WHY HASN'T ONE OF US WRITTEN AN EPIC? (And by "one of us" I mean "scrollgirl," because if I wrote it, it wouldn't be half as fun to read.)
4) That doesn't mean I'm not plotting out the boarding school AU. Will plays lacrosse, Sam rows crew, Sam's the new kid, Will kind of does everything and nothing and is vaguely popular in that the other kids basically leave him alone if he so wishes. There is MURDER at the boarding school (or something. I want there to be plot, dammit!) and Sam and Will have to solve it (or something) and... I don't know. I still think scrollgirl should write it with me.
5) No, seriously, why don't more of you write Sam/Will? I'll pay you. In... awesomeness.

Tomorrow I am off! Yay! I am supposed to go to a show with Steven, but he never called me back, so I don't know if that's still on? I hope it is. Theatres are air-conditioned.

So, I have the new David Sedaris book, an ARC of the new Christopher Buckley book, the first Skulduggery Pleasant, a new novel by one of my creative writing professors, and two books that moonsheen gave me for my birthday.
Despite this, my brain will NOT focus on grown-up books. THESE ARE ALL THINGS THAT I WANT TO READ. But apparently I would rather watch teevee and lay pathetically in front of the fan.
