some things!
I wasn't planning on posting again today, but then David Hewlett had to go and post a picture of his family holding a cupcake to accompany a blog post in which he argues with himself about how old he is, and that's the sort of thing that you can't just let go by without mention.
Oh my lord. Can that man get anymore ridic?
Anyway. I had a love dessert with Harmonyangel, who continues to be one of my favorite people on the internet. I also had a nice drive down to her hometown, which is only a few exits further down the parkway than the town where a girl I dated in high school used to live. It was kind of weird, driving my car down the same roads at about the same time of day that I used to five years ago. I could probably still make the drive in my sleep, which is kind of weird. It's funny what you remember.
Also, I hope that people as pissed off about the OSBP as I was have also seen the Open Source Women Back Each Other Up Project. It's good reading and definitely something that I am going to keep in mind as I waddle through my every day life. I made a post about my level of comfort with straight men some months back and in it I said that I was never sure what to do when creepy straight guys hit on other girls in my presence. From now on, I will say something, even if I just end up embarrassing myself. And if any of you are hanging out with me and a creepy straight guy (or even a seemingly nice straight guy) make an unwanted pass at you, I will totally back you up if you want him to stop.
Frantic writing and then bedtime for me. Um, is anyone going to be around to read something over tomorrow? I might need a very-last-minute TWW beta.

The Rather Difficult Font Game
I got 24/34 on my first try. The average is 22/34. I'm determined to get 34/34 without cheating. I love typography, guys. I'm a nerd.
