The new Weepies album isn't out until the 22nd and I've already listened to "Antarctica" a dozen times. No lie. I DLed the pre-order single of "Hideaway" and they've got two other songs up on their MySpace, but this is the one that I keep listening to over and over. It's making me really excited for the full album.
ANYWAY.
So, Thursday and Friday Scott and Katy have gigs in Manhattan. Scott is play Googie's Lounge at The Living Room at 8pm on Thursday. It's free and you should come with me. moonsheen is going to be there too! You know how awesome she is!
Katy is playing The Canal Room (285 W. Broadway) at 8pm on Friday. This one has a $10 cover because other people are playing too, but I'm probably going to leave after Katy because I have to work the next day. Anyway, you should come to this one too. Both of them are going to be extra special because Katy's family is in town and her father recently passed away unexpectedly, so I think it would be nice if there are a lot of people there in support.
Anyway, they're both 21+. And you should come. WE COULD BE FRIENDS. It will be awesome.
