Today was my last day at Michael's, maybe for good. Maybe not. We'll see what May brings.
I had a really bad morning, for several reasons, and flipped out when three people called out. I was supposed to be doing inventory. I know this sounds deranged, but I love inventory. I love sitting on my own with a pile of boxes and an RF gun and mindlessly scanning and hitting numbers. I love it. It's my favourite part of working at Michael's. Inventory is my favourite time of year. Count. Scan. Number. Enter. And the beeps the RF guns make? You can set a rhythm to them.
Scan. Beep. Click Click Enter. Beep. Scan. Beep. Click Click Enter. Beep.
Anyway. I enjoy it, but because so many fucking people called out today, I was on register instead of doing inventory and I kind of hated it a lot. I threw a really childish fit that I'm highly embarassed about now.

I forgot to deposit the ~$800 in checks from Michael's, meaning that I have to rush to do it tomorrow so they'll clear in time for me to make a payment before my LJ expires. Stupid LJ. Stupid me forgetting to go to the bank. Oh well. At least I have cash again!

Haven't been working on my SP, mostly because I've been watching a lot of teevee on my computer. I am totally behind the following shows now: SFU, Doctor Who, SGA, BSG.
And I never thought I'd get on the BSG bandwagon, either, but for some reason, after barely watching a lot of it, something clicked and now I can't get enough. To the point where I'm like, "Well, B&N does have teevee boxsets two for one until the end of the month..."
I can understand why everyone on the internet is in love with Doctor Who and I'm only about four episodes in. Um. I'm kind of in love with Rose.
SGA is just happy crack and makes me really nostalgic for the days when Brendan and RJ and I used to sit around for seven hours at a time and watch every single thing on the SciFi Channel. Just sit and watch. And make pizza bagels. The good kind. Not the PathMark kind. (Which are FINE you ungreatful assholes! You're just lucky you can drive your own asses to the store to get then now, because after THAT stunning lack of gratitude, I never would have done it again! Except I think I probably did it at least a dozen more times because I'm sometimes a softtouch with those two, especially because hanging out with them made me feel like I had friends.)
