Man, another sleeping all day day. I kind of like those. And miss them. Stupid classes and papers and things. ::shakes fist::
It's really just... ridiculously dry in our apartment, our bedroom specifically. For example, I had a regular half-liter water bottle that was mostly full but had the top off. It's now less than half full. [eta: As Caitlin pointed out, it would be good if I specified that this was over just two days.] We both wake up completely dried out to the point where we have to put on lotion immediately, or drink a bottle of water. It sucks, a lot.
So now we're Googling "homemade humidifier" to figure out if there's something we can do to solve the problem. WE SHALL SEE.
Not finding many useful answers. I think we're going to have to leave large vats of water around or something.

I should really finish today's advent story. You know, the one I was going to write last night? Yeah. Whoops. Also, I need to finish card drabbles so I can actually send cards sort of on time! I think I'm going to send
irmelin's out next time I go into town, which will take care of the international ones (except for
twentyfivepast, who needs to wait until I get back to Parsippany for a SPECIAL SURPRISE.), but I do want to get the others out before I die.
Wow. I just wrote a whole paragraph about Christmas cards. And you just read it. Don't you feel kind of cheated?

AHAHAHAHAHAHA OKAY. SO. Caitlin and I have a solution to our humidity problem. We taped up the vent in the bathroom, put the shower on HOT and tacked a sheet to the wall so that the moisture and heat comes right into our bedroom. It's kind of hilarious and I hope it works!
And with that, I am going to go finish today's advent. You know, before tomorrow.
