Warnings: ... Crack-ish?
A/N: HAHA, this is just a pile of ridiculous. Silliest thing I've written in like, two years. Totally inspired by Ideal Son/Risou no Musuko and Fujigaya getting all the parents and all the families, because seriously who could resist that smile. 8D/ Idek, I suppose this might be for tottchupi, I can't breathe anymore.

Yamada groaned, throwing himself onto the couch. “This sucks.”

“What?” Chinen looked up from where he was stretching with Nakajima. “Did you forget about the history test?”

“No,” Yamada said, sounding surprisingly huffy as he turned to face them both, “Mom’s all excited about the new drama. She hasn’t met Fujigaya-kun yet and since we’re working together, she had me invite him over for dinner tonight.”

Nakajima frowned, “Hey, how come I wasn’t invited?”

“She knows you,” Yamada pointed out, before flinging himself back on the couch with another groan. “This is a disasterrrrrr.”

“It can’t be that bad,” Chinen shrugged, smiling wryly, “Fujigaya-kun’s really nice.”

“That is not the point,” Yamada said, scandalized. “You know how he is.”

“…” Both Chinen and Nakajima’s expressions were blank and Yamada groaned again.

“You know? The whole… parent thing?”

There was another pause and then Chinen burst out laughing, toppling over to roll on the floor, laughing gleefully. “Yamada, are you for real?”

“Wait, wait, what?” Nakajima asked, still confused.

“The whole…” Yamada seemed reluctant to explain, but with Chinen still laughing on the floor, there was no choice. “The way he flirts with everyone. What!” he said, when Nakajima frowned at him, “it’s true!”

“You make that sound so wrong, Ryousuke,” Nakajima scolded. “Fujigaya-kun is fine. There’s nothing wrong with being friendly.”

“It’s not the same thing,” Yamada pouted, but he knew that Nakajima wasn’t going to get it, so he quickly dropped the subject. There was nothing else to do but accept his doom.

“Thank you for inviting me,” Fujigaya said, smiling at them all as they sat down for dinner. Work had run late, but nobody seemed to mind when Yamada arrived home, Fujigaya right behind him. Yamada’s mother looked like Christmas had come early when Fujigaya had introduced himself with the most dazzling smile Yamada had ever seen on his face, and had quickly ushered them both to the table, where Fujigaya seemed intent on charming the socks off Yamada’s entire family.

“It seems like such a fun story,” his mother was telling Fujigaya at the moment, and Yamada watched them both, suspicious. “Ryousuke always has such fun when he’s working with you all.”

Fujigaya nodded, still smiling, “Right. We’ve worked a lot together in the past couple of months, of course, so it’s nice to have friends in this kind of drama.”

“And you box?” Yamada’s father asked, and Yamada was almost sure that it didn’t matter if he was at the table or not, because everyone was fully focused on Fujigaya. It was good, he supposed, that his sister was out with some friends for the night. One less female to be in a dither.

“Mm, yeah,” Fujigaya nodded. “I’ve never really boxed before? But I started taking lessons when I got the role and it’s actually really fun!”

“And you’ll be playing Ryousuke’s senpai too,” Yamada’s mother practically cooed, and Yamada felt mildly disturbed, though his father didn’t seem to even bat an eye. “That’ll be so great… and I’m sure,” and she was suddenly speaking very deliberately, “that working with Suzuki-san is wonderful too. I’m sure she’s going to make a fantastic mother for Ryousuke.”

Yamada was contemplating crawling under the table and forgetting this evening had even happened and tried downing a glass of water instead. But then Fujigaya was chuckling, lips curving into another one of those perfect smiles. “Suzuki-san is a very charming woman,” he told her, “but she is no more charming than you yourself, Yamada-san.”

It was so blatant, so outrageous, that Yamada nearly spat his drink out. Instead, he choked, curling over as a coughing fit overcame him.

“Eh?” Fujigaya leaned over, concerned, “Hey, Yamada-kun, are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” Yamada quickly wiped his hands clean with a napkin, standing up and giving them all a hurried smile. “Sorry, but I just realized I have a history test tomorrow and I haven’t studied at all. See you later!” and with that, he fled to his own room.

“It’s horrible!” he railed at Nakajima. It was two days after the incident and Nakajima had really just wanted another iced coffee, but Yamada had jumped on the opportunity to vent. “She won’t stop talking about him, asking about how he is and wanting me to say hi to him for her. She even changed her freaking ringtone to We Never Give Up! And Dad’s no better, he thinks he’s cool. I told you this was going to happen!”

Juri and Taiga happened to be passing when he finished his rant, and they both paused.

“Dude, I totally get you,” Juri sympathized. Taiga patted Yamada on the shoulder, and then they both went on their way.

Yamada rounded on Nakajima, “I told you!”
