Meme - Writing Meme

This is what procrastination looks like, go me. u_uv
Stolen off the interwebs and posted here cause... it's writing meme.

1. List one of your writing goals for the upcoming month and how likely you are to accomplish it.

We'll say it's the start of March, even if I have two hours until February ends. I'll be beyond my goals of wanting to finish Kis-My-Fic2 and Remix on time and say that I want to finish that holiday fic writing meme I opened forever ago. To those I haven't written for yet, I am so sorry.

I also want to write my PV!verse for JUMP, but that's a bigger project. Maybe within the year~?

2. What genre or subject you would like to write about that you aren’t currently?

Mm, I've dipped into it a few times, but I want to try and write a bit more with heavy subjects like death, mental disorders, crime, etc. On the opposite side of things, I'd also like to try for more humorous fics... my attempts at both have been rather... err, well, paltry.

3. What is your writing lifestyle, habits? How do you manage the interruptions with your writing? How do you stay positive? Believe in your writing success?

I'm constantly writing. It's not so much because I think I'm a great writer (because I'm not and I'm the first one to tell you that) but I need an outlet. My imagination is overly active and I'm constantly running away with some new weird idea. I don't write most of my ideas, but that's one reason I write a lot.

Habits? Uhm... I'm not sure. I tend to complain about my fics a lot, but I really enjoy them! They're not zomg!amazing, but I have fun writing them. There isn't much in the way of 'interruptions' since I write mostly one-shots/drabbles... And I'm not pursuing this as a career, so writing it just fun and I don't really have to believe in myself, I just have to enjoy it.

4. Are you a pantser or plotter?

Uhm... Somewhere in between, but mostly towards panster. I usually have an end in mind when I start a fic, I might even have a middle, but there are always twists that appear randomly and unexpected. 8D;; I should probably learn to plot more, though. My longer fic ideas tend to just die 'cause I don't think them out enough.

5. Who are two of your favorite current authors and why?

Goodness, that's such a hard question to ask!

Right now, I'm hugely fond of Ray Bradbury and Orson Scott Card. They're actually two of my favorites of all time anyway, so you get them.

As for why...? Well, honestly, there was no escaping the magic that was Ray Bradbury's books. I adore his stories so much and I meant to bring Fahrenheit 451 with me, but it didn't happen. D: And with Orson Scott Card... I don't even know, Ender's Game is one of my all time favorite books and I adore it and I actually own my own copy of it now and I'm so freakishly happy about that. There's just something about it that I love and Orson Scott Card is a huge role-model in my life.

6. How does your family feel about your writing?

Well, they don't know about the fic writing... but eh, with my original fiction, I think they just think I'm the cute idiot. They don't really care, I don't think they really payed attention to any of the writing I've ever let them see...

!not quite fic
