It was still dawn when Yuya rushed back to the residence. One of the maid helped him to open the main gate and he rushed up immediately to Daiki’s room.
He opened the door, and as expected, Daiki was gone.
Shit, what have I done now.
The maid who had followed Yuya gave a shocked reaction when she saw that the young master wasn’t there in his room.
Arioka-san and Rina was walking out of the study room when they heard quick footsteps which made them suspicious.
They walked out to see what was going on when they saw Yuya standing in front of Daiki’s room.
Upon seeing that Yuya was staring into space, Rina walked up to him and held his hands in hers.
“Yuya? What’s wrong? Why are you standing here? Aren’t you supposed to be at home?”
Yuya glared at her.
“WHERE’S DAIKI? THERE’S SO MANY OF YOU HERE DON’T TELL ME NONE OF YOU SAW HIM?!”
Arioka-san was mad after hearing what Yuya said. He went into the room, only to pick up a note left by Daiki on the table.
Don’t expect to see me again.
Seeing the note and the empty room, he was fuming mad. What makes him even madder was that the household have so many people but none of them had seen Daiki going out of the house.
They all went down to the hall and Rina sat beside Arioka-san, trying to calm him down while looking at Yuya who was staring into space thinking about where could Daiki go to.
Why is he so bothered about that Daiki? He got so worked up about his disappearance…
Yuya didn’t dare to look at Rina in the eyes, only to evade it. After a moment, Yuya can’t hold back anymore and stood up.
“Arioka-san, I can’t just sit here and do nothing. It’s very late now and he is alone outside. It’s dangerous so please allow me to go and find him.”
He just turn his body when Rina grabbed his hands tightly.
“There are people who will go and find him. You don’t have to bother.”
Without saying anything, Yuya glared at her for a few seconds and pulled his hand away from her.
“I don’t feel safe with only them searching for him. I need to go help out and find him, more people the better.”
He made his way out, leaving Rina there, stunned at how Yuya actually shaked her hands off and caring so much about Daiki.
So now it’s Daiki huh.
She clenched her fists.
Driving as fast as possible on the main streets, his eyes kept looking out for that particular person.
Please be safe… Daiki…
The thought of Daiki getting into any danger is making his heart hurt. He could only step on the accelerator and speed up.
At that moment, he saw a familiar frame.
Immediately he stopped the car at the roadside and without locking the car, he ran after the figure, into a bar.
Making his way inside the bar, he clenched his fists as the smoke and alcohol irritates him.
Daiki can’t be in such a place.
He shouldn’t be here.
Pushing people away one by one, finally, at the corner of the bar, he found who he was looking for.
Drinking all sorts of alcohol, Daiki was sitting at the corner.
Yokatta.
Yuya was about to make his way there when he saw someone else sitting down beside Daiki, with a smile on his face and hands caressing Daiki’s hair.
He recognized him.
The guy who punched him in the face that time and Daiki tend to talk about him sometimes, Hikaru.
While Yuya was thinking about all these, he noticed the half-sober Daiki who turned his body and wrapped his arms around Hikaru, which after that was followed by Daiki kissing him.
He clenched his fist tighter than before as he saw how Hikaru smirked to Daiki’s kiss and gladly returning it, with his hands halfway up inside of Daiki’s shirt.
A place where Yuya himself had never even touch before.
He’s mine. He belongs to me, he’s not supposed to touch Daiki.
Not being able to control himself, Yuya walked up to separate the two who were in the middle of making out and dragged Daiki away by grabbing his arm, but was given a hard slap by the latter in return.
He stared at Daiki in disbelief. He actually slapped him, and he was wearing an unreadable smile.
“Who do you think you are? After cheating me of my feelings, saying you are going to marry Rina, I granted your wish. What do you want from me now?!”
“Daiki, I… Let’s go home first, everyone is worried about you.”
“No. I’ve made it clear haven’t I? Don’t expect me to see all of you again. Tell that old man and his daughter, I’ll leave all of them alone to do what they want, you don’t have to see me again. Go enjoy your life with your new wife.”
Daiki tried to shake his hands off from Yuya.
“ARIOKA DAIKI! Go home with me now! They are all very worried about you!”
“No need to. I’m very happy here with Hikaru. I don’t need all your fake worries. Go away!”
He managed to get away from Yuya and turned around to grab Hikaru’s hand, making their way out of the bar.
Yuya raged. He rushed after them, out onto the streets and grabbed Daiki, forcing kisses on him although the latter was struggling.
“Let go! You jerk… Get away from me!”
A punch was given to Yuya’s face again, this time it was Hikaru.
But in the midst of protecting Daiki, Hikaru’s strong force accidentally knocked Daiki out to the main road.
Daiki tried to get up on his feet but all he can see was a vehicle speeding towards him and he was shocked still.
Hikaru was standing at the roadside, stunned while Yuya’s immediate reaction was to rush towards Daiki, and covered him the way he once protected him from Arioka-san’s beatings.
That moment, everything changed.
What Hikaru saw was Daiki’s shocked face, Yuya’s weak face and the speeding culprit, Rina.
Yuya pushed Daiki who was under him out as he lay down, under the wheels of the car.
Daiki got up and kneeled beside Yuya, holding him into his embrace.
“Takaki Yuya what do you think you are doing?! Are you mad?!”
“D-Daiki…”
“I’m here… I’m here…”
“I’m very, v-very sorry… I should have chosen you… in the first place…”
“Stop saying all these! You have to hold on, hold on! Hikaru called the police and the ambulance is on its way… You have to hold on, idiot! You have to!”
“I… saved you… from the accident… I’ve no regrets… a-anymore…”
Daiki pressed onto Yuya’s wound on his body to stop the bleeding, tears flowing down his cheeks.
“What regrets… Why did you have to care about me… Are you an idiot…”
Yuya let out a weak smile.
“I-it’s because… I realized… Y-you… are the one… I love the most… D-dai-chan…”
“…I love you too Yuya…”
After all these, Rina landed herself into prison due to being the culprit behind the wheels. Daiki worked hard in studying about business and took over the company.

Hikaru walked into the president’s office, holding breakfast in his hands. He gently opened the door, quietly making his way to Daiki, who fell asleep on the table.
“President Daiki, you don’t have to do extra work all the time until you’re so worn out you know.”
Daiki woke up and rubbed his eyes to see who it was while Hikaru was laughing at how cute Daiki looked like trying to be awake.
“There’s a lot of work due nowadays that’s why… Is there anything wrong?”
“Nothing, here’s some breakfast. Just wanted to come in and talk to you about the recent projects.”
“Hika, if it’s you, why would I need to have a discussion. I trust your skills in handling all these projects, just go with what you think it’s right.”
“Okay then. Let’s not talk about work… Oh right. I didn’t see your assistant when I came in, where’s he?”
“Shh… He’s there sleeping.”
Daiki pointed to the corner of the room.
“Don’t wake him up. He’s been busy with all the recent work. Let him sleep.”
Hikaru turned to look and then turned back laughing.
“From what I see, it seems like he holds a higher position than you now.”
A light whack landed on Hikaru’s head.
“It doesn’t make a difference anyway. What have you been doing recently…”
Lying down on the sofa, Daiki’s assistant smiled, turning back to feign sleep once more.
The accident five years ago, Yuya was seriously injured. He was almost pronounced as brain dead which made Daiki cried till he almost fainted.
That time, who knew that after just two days, Yuya woke up.
And because it will take a long time for him to recover, Daiki made sure he shall not do any work until he fully recovers.
But Yuya insisted on working alongside with Daiki and he could only give up due to his idiotic boyfriend being too annoyingly cute.
“ “…I love you too Yuya…” hearing it makes my hair stand.” Yuya acted out being grossed out and received a hard whack on his head.
“You aren’t any better anyway, “I-it’s because… I realized… Y-you… are the one… I love the most… D-dai-chan…” ” Daiki re-enacted the scene and laughed, giving a poke to Yuya’s cheeks.
“It’s true that you love me though~”
“I don’t recall me saying that I love you though~”
Daiki feign innocence.
“Liar~ I know you love me~”
Yuya pulled Daiki in by his waist and closed the distance between their lips.
When they broke off, Daiki giggled and buried his face onto Yuya’s chest.
