Character Name: Professor Noodleton
Character Subtitle: The Wibbly Wobbly Trainer Wainer
Region of Origin: Sinnoh
How did your character become involved in the league?: Professor Noodleton believes flexibility and being able to wiggle out of tough situations is the most important aspect of any good trainer. To that end, his research focuses primarily on only the most limber and dextrous of pokemon. His apparent specialty of water and grass types makes it difficult for opponents to find a uniform weakness in his team, making him a challenging opponent. He became interested in becoming a gym leader when he realized having a continuous string of challengers would beneficial in the research of his ideal pokemon.

Give some examples of Pokemon your leader would use (These don’t have to be final.): Tangrowth, Tentacruel, Omastar, Octillery, Carnivine, Ferrothorn, Whiscash, Ambipom, Cradily
What strategy would the Gym Guy give about your gym?: You tend to use Water and Grass types so ready to switch out if necessary.

Character Name: Ray
Character Subtitle: The Flawless Spark
Region of Origin: Unova
How did your character become involved in the league?: Ray was born in Mistralton City and spent much of his early childhood playing close to the entrance of Chargestone Cave. Too young to have Pokemon of his own, he noticed travellers exiting the cave usually had their Pokemon crippled by paralysis. He also observed that some newcomers were able to use their freshly caught Electric Pokemon from the cave to bring down the local gym leader at the time, Skyla. As such, he developed a deep-seated respect for the strength of electric Pokemon. However, as he grew and began his own journey, he quickly discovered their complete inability to deal with Ground types. He realized that this being their only weakness, it might be something that could potentially be overcome. Thus began his search to bridge the gap in their power. Ray eventually compiled a team of Electric type Pokemon who had all developed appropriate adaptations against their collective weakness. Whether through electromagnetic levitation or sustained flight, Ray was satisfied with what he had found and now only seeks to test his theory of perceived superiority. After completing his pokemon journey, he applied to become a gym leader and was met with a unanimous approval and acceptance.

Eelektross, Emolga, Rotom, Magnezone (@air balloon to be able to set up Magnet Rise), Electrode (Should be fast enough to Magnet Rise first without help), Thundurus
What strategy would the Gym Guy give about your gym?:
Don't rely on earthquake or other ground attacks. Moldbreaker and other related abilities may help, but not always.

Character Name: Felicity (no last name) and Craig (her personal orderly)
Character Subtitle: The Crazy Cat Lady
Region of Origin: Kanto
How did your character become involved in the league?:
She just showed up one day at the Indigo Plateau with an armful of Meowths, all 8 regional badges pinned haphazardly to her rags, muttering gibberish and literally tossing her pokemon into battle. At the time, she managed to defeat Lorelei of the Elite Four before being beaten by Bruno. Apparently discontent with her loss, she needed to be physically subdued as well and was eventually sent to a psychiatric ward. Unbeknownst to her, she had drawn the attention of some of the Pokemon League organizers who were impressed with her ability - considering her win against Lorelei was legitimate and accomplished with just the Meowths she had been carrying. Coming to an unorthadox agreement with the psychologists and doctors at her treatment facility, she was offered a position as a gym leader with the condition that she be accompanied at all times by a personal medical orderly. While her mental health is severely questionable, she nevertheless has an idea what she's doing. Her dedication to her hidden feline agenda does not necessarily make her a consistently strong competitive battler, but her team just might be crazy enough to work...

Mostly Normal and Dark so Fighting types present a distinct advantage.
