MoneygrubExpo (previously FanExpo)
I'm going to head downtown to FanExpo tomorrow and get a saturday pass for $40, which is the same price as going to AN for the entire weekend. I am not pleased. I haven't missed a FanExpo for as long as I've heard about it and I don't want to ruin the streak and have the possibility of having missed out on some cool displays or just things in general.
I understand Hobbystar is a business first and they want to make money and after last year, I can understand why they'd be okay with losing a large chunk of their cheaper patrons. I'm just sad that the guise of the con being there for the fans is wearing thin and it's getting more painfully obvious how greedy they really are.
