It was great to see you for a bit at con and I'm glad that you could come out for dinner last night.
I can understand how you feel about not Cosplaying at a con. It's kind of fun to be normal (easier to move around and what not) but you also feel like you're missing out on part of the experience. Making new costumes and getting into costume at con can be such a pain in the butt though. I went on a bit of a costume making hiatus since mid July and the break has been wonderful. XD Now I'm dreading getting back into the swing of things but once you get a costume going it's all worth it. Good luck with your future costume plans!
I have to agree that the con was pricey. Do volunteer with the masq next year! If they're able to get free badges for volunteers it's a really nice perk and it's pretty fun backstage. They always could use more people. (^_^) I'm glad you were able to make some of your money back by finding it on the floor and what not. XD

I think I found a cicada shell last week Thursday near where I keep my garbage bin. It scared the crap out of me because I thought it was a huge bug that was going to move. (>.<);; When I saw it was still there the next day I touched it with a stick and it feel down. So gross. XD
