Nature Post

This is such a lame post to be making but I can't help it, it was interesting to me.

Last night when I was coming home, I saw a wild rabbit hopping around the grass around the visitor's parking spaces. It was brown and pretty big, like the size of about 2 tissue boxes stacked together. Anyways, not having many chances to look at rabbits, I went to go check it out so I got as close as I could without spooking it, which worked out to be around 3 to 4 meters. I sat down and quiety observed it as it nibbled on grass and kept a very close eye on me.

...Then I tried making this squeeking noise with my front teeth and bottom lip, which incidentally sounds remarkably similar to a whimpering animal. The rabbit immediately perched up on its hind legs and stared right at me. I just kept making the noise without moving in the slightest and watched the rabbit circle around me, slowly closing in until it must have been within my reach. I turned my head slightly to get a better look and it darted away back to its "safe distance".

The next 5 minutes or so were spent making a squeeking noise and being a statue. I carefully took some pictures and a short video but they were blurry and taken in the dark so you can't really see anything.

So yeah. Nature :3
