Major Post
I need to do a major posting, and for which I don't know how much time I have to do that right now so just diving right in:
My second night here I had dinner at Franks house. Frank is this hippie old man who has like "found god" and own a B&B just outside of the monument. You have to drive throught the monument to get there too. I's a nice place. Well anyways, this guy is a climber and last year he climbed 365 days! He's insane. He also had a friend over who is a physicist, and he was taking about nuclear arms and there was lots of good conversation.
Then there was one night where we went off-roading Ed took his Jeep wrangler (a old one) and Joe drove his Chevy Pickup (and old chevy with a new engine and turbo and a ford front end) this truck is awesome. and off roading was fun.
Lots of drinking ensued in the own of Hullett, about 10 miles away from here. And also in Deadwood (about an hour and a half away) they also have some casinos. and it's very touristy, which means the town has something for everyone.
Just last Friday (two days ago) Parker and I went to Gillette (an hour to the west) and did some geocaching, and then saw Tranformers (we almost didn't make it they said it was sold out, but we waited till the movie started to see if they had seats left and they had two, score!
Then yesterday we went geocaching in the black hills. Which was utterly amazing. I am still exhausted from the adventure. Saw lots of pretty things.
Darn, I know I'm forgetting lots of things. Time just keeps flying by. I think I have only 6 weeks left. :( I don't wanna leave.
