Dating, Camping and New Friends
Well, I never got a call today about my date for tomorrow. Hmmm :| Well, I guess it will have to wait a couple of weeks, then. I’m pretty busy till I leave on a 4-day vacation next week.
I’m not really in the mood to date anyway, am actually having more fun getting to know some people on LJ a little better, in particular TaraDiane, Psychobarfly, Coffeejunki, and Random_Snitch. You guys are great!
So, am really looking forward to my trip to Sequoia National Park. (This is the first real vacation I have taken in about 9 months due to caring for my aged and deteriorating dog during that time.) Haven't finalized any of the details because the ringleader of the group is still on vacation himself. Will finalize things later this week.
I think we’re actually going to be camping. Hm. Haven’t camped in YEARS. *Snerk* Don’t get me wrong, I loved camping in the past, and love nature, it’s just that hotels or cabins are wayyy more comfortable! The ex hated camping, so I have gotten out of practice. That ought to make this quite the adventure :))
Well, am off to the movies with a friend. Again. I’m just a movie-going thang nowadays! We’re seeing “Must Love Dogs”. Which of course is a must considering I’m a rabid dog (and animal) lover. *points to new icon* Shocked? Yes, Roxy has a new icon. This is one of my fur babies. Expect even more icons soon, my pretties. *evil laugh* Yes, Roxy found her icon program again, and will try to make things a little more interesting :P
